A strategic role focused on developing audiences and delivering targeted campaigns using print, online, broadcast and social media to achieve the key objectives and priorities of the marketing, digital and audience development strategies.

  • Led on delivery of Audience Development action plan to deliver direct response marketing campaigns to increase attendance and spend of loyal customers and target local new audiences.
  • Develop media and PR partnerships and deliver PR marketing campaigns to promote a new £5 million gallery extension and programme of exhibitions to arts press and local media.
  • Produce press releases and biannual What’s On and Creative Learning publications and develop and deliver biannual pocket guides for staff and students and Children and family audiences.
  • Collaborate with The University of Leicester to programme event marketing campaigns directed at staff and students, including commissioning artists to deliver street performance, tours and art workshops.

A digital focused role responsible for developing and creating content for campaign delivery and monitoring online engagement across the website, blog, social media and e-fliers in line with the digital communications strategy.

  • Develop and deliver a new blog, social media and e-flier campaigns and produce monthly analysis of audience engagement to share with the management team and advisory board.

Provide funding advice for individuals and arts organisations through 1-2-1 meetings, presentations and workshops and to make an application to Grants for the Arts, an open access funding programme. Assess and score applications against set criteria and offer grants to successful applicants up to the value of £50k.

  • Lead Co-ordinator for Art in Empty Spaces Programme, working in collaboration with the London office to negotiate flexibility to the application criteria and process resulting in 5 successful applications from a £52k funding pot.
  • Support the marketing team with collating success stories as a result of Grants for the Arts funding to disseminate as part of monthly e-bulletins.

Develop and deliver educational digital arts workshops in schools and community centres to children and young people across the East Midlands, in partnership with The Mighty Creatives and local authorities.
